The Toyota Highlander lineup is currently enlarging because the three-row crossover is presently getting an all-new and sportier XSE version for 2021.
The version also includes tinted lighting components along with a metallic spoiler.
The sporty styling rolls continue further back since the crossover has exclusive 20-inch metal wheels, which include black accents. Buyers may also find brand new side skirts, blacked-out window trim, and even black mirror caps.
Interior adjustments are limited but include ambient light, faux carbon-fiber trim, and black Softex chairs with cloth folds. Clients may also go for a two-tone interior comprising red and black leather in addition to red contrast stitching.
The improvements are not only skin deep as Highlander XSE includes a sportier suspension using retuned springs, shocks, and a rear stabilizer bar. The electric power steering has also been recalibrated to provide a more direct feel.
It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that may send electricity to an optional dynamic torque vectoring all-wheel disk system.
The 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE is going to be launched this autumn and slot between the XLE and Limited variations. Toyota did not mention pricing, but we could expect the version to price around $42,000 awarded its placement. Despite this hefty price tag, the business anticipates around 12 percentage of Highlander buyers to decide on the XSE.
