He will direct a film on Netflix titled SIX YEARS. This movie is converted from one of the series of Harlan Coben named Six years. Harlan Coben is the best selling author.
THE BOOK, SIX YEARS, HAS BEEN EYED MANY TIMES, THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME IT IS TAKEN FOR A FILM, BUT NOW IT IS FINALLY HAPPENING!
The tale- six years- conveys about impulsion and the lost love. The book ‘six years’ has been seen by many directors who thought it was getting delayed. But now finally the project has started! Although the film was not made, the project was started in 2013. Paramount has started developing this project, and Hugh Jackman was taken as the star in the film.
LET’S TALK ABOUT THE PLOT OF ‘SIX YEARS’
The Hero of the story is a college professor by profession. His name is Jake Fisher. Our Hero has lost his love, Natalie, six years back. Though she was his true love because of the circumstances, they were not together presently. When our professor heard of Todd’s death ( husband of Natalie), he decided to attend his funeral. Jake went to Todd’s funeral to give his condolences to his family and wife, Natalie.
When he went to Todd’s funeral, he discovered….he discovered that Natalie was not Todd’s wife! There was someone else on the place of Natalie, the widow who was grieving was not Natalie. This leads our Hero to search for her girl Natalie. How is she, where is she, and what all happened with her…. he started searching for Natalie along with all these questions in his mind.
Recently, David, who is 52 years, shared his journey and experience of working on the 2016 DC Extended Universe flick ‘suicide squad’. He revealed that his experience was not so far good. He didn’t enjoy much in this. His confidence was reduced by the cruel evaluative response.
He said, “I got some supercharged muscles on Suicide squad, from making a film so big, but it was a rugged experience. A strong experience. It became a bit of toil the end. It was an unbelievable financial success, but I got excoriated by the critics, and that’s frightening, that’s painful. And it shook my confidence as a storyteller”.
He tweeted, replying to a fan’s take on Jared’s Joker, “For sure character creation is a tightrope. I took inspiration from the current DC comics”.
If you have not watched the Suicide Squad yet, then go and watch it. In the SUICIDE SQUAD, you will get the idea of the talented David Ayer’s work.
