Release Date
According to sources, the next season of this series will release in 2020. However, there’s not an official announcement of the exact release date of season two of this series.

According to sources, the filming season is finished, and that means the series is heading our way earlier.
Teresa Palmer and Matthew Goode will restart playing Diana Bishop and Matthew Clairmont, respectively. Aiysha Hart will do Miriam Shephard, and Marcus Whitmore will perform the role of Edward Bluemel.

Lindsay Duncan will function as Ysabeau de Clermont, Malin Buska will act as Satu Jarvinen, and Owen Teal will play Peter Knox. Tom Huges will join the cast of A Discovery Of Witches Season two as Kit Marlowe (Elizabethan Era).

The first season of A Discovery Of Witches started with all the magic and enchantments. The narrative revolved around Diana and Mathew. The exciting puzzle all along the way revealed new truths.

Season two of the series might observe the search for a witch to lead Diana and unveiling of Mathew’s past as an outcome. The debut of mythical creatures such as vampires and demons may drive the plot to brand new turns.

According to sources, the filming started in July 2019 at Gloucestershire Cathedral, together with the production team and cast members.

The show’s official Twitter account revealed at the end of December 2019 that the UK manufacturing was completed before filming moved on to Italy:

“Final day of the UK filming for season two today! We cannot wait for one to experience the magic onscreen in 2020!”

On January 7, 2020the same account then stated that just fourteen days of filming were abandoned of season two:

“We proceed again. The last fourteen days are filming #ADiscoveryOfWitches; then, it is all in the can!!”
