The very first official pictures of this 2021 Kia Sorento have been released ahead of the car’s Geneva Motor Show premiere next month.
Front of this 2021 version is particularly bold thanks to the existence of the marque’s’tiger nose’ grille that seamlessly flows in the headlights and LED daytime running lights.
Elsewhere, Kia says it has extended the wheelbase of the new Sorento while also shortening the front and rear overhangs. The surfaces of this SUV are also particularly eye-catching thanks to sharp rear side windows and a beautiful part of silver cut on the C-pillar. Located at the rear are divided taillights, a spoiler extending off the roof, and notable’Sorento’ badging.
Kia has also dropped images of this automobile’s redesigned inside. Sitting in the middle of this brand new cabin is an extensive 10.12-inch touchscreen infotainment system while beneath it are several physical air conditioning and heating controls. Also visible is vibrant ambient light and two-tone leather trim.
The Korean car manufacturer has yet to announce technical specifications for its 2021 Sorento, and as such, engine details remained unconfirmed. With that said, recent spy shots revealed that the SUV is going to be extended in an eco Hybrid’ guise that could feature a similar 2.0-liter turbo and electrical powertrain into the 2020 Kia Optima Hybrid.
