We brought you the most recent spy shots of this all-new 2020 Hyundai i20, and today we get a clearer image of this supermini courtesy of 2 official layout sketches.
When these images demonstrate a dramatized layout, they enable us to view key styling characteristics of their new subcompact.
We can observe that in the form of the cascading grille that reminds of that 2020 Sonata and notably the brand new Grandeur, in how in which the grille is combined with all the headlights. The exceptional lighting touch and unwanted creases are also standard of Hyundai’s latest styling language.
In comparison with the present version, the new i20 is going to have a sportier, more lively appearance, though likely not as bold as in these sketches — unless they depict the forthcoming Hyundai i20 N sexy hatch. The latter version will probably feature layout cues very similar to those official teaser pictures, for instance, sculpted bumpers using a splitter in front and back diffuser in the end, large roof spoiler, and enormous alloy wheels.
The taillights have a lively form and communicate with one another using a thin illuminated strip that looks connected with the back glass.
Hyundai doesn’t preview the inside layout just yet but states the dashboard features horizontal blades, which highlight the diameter of the front fascia and disguise the vents. Also, we learn the new i20 comes with a 10.25-inch digital bunch that unifies with the 10.25-inch dominant center display for a high tech appearance.
